A failed Brooklyn writer, Nathan Fisher, visits his ailing parents in Florida. His mother has Alzheimer's and his father has recently had a stroke and his girlfriend has recently broken up with him.

A Short History of the Gaze is an experiential essay for Virtual Reality about the relationship between gaze and violence. 　　From the evolution of sight in a pre-cambrian sea creature to the dominance display of a primate, from a landscape of billboards begging for attention to an infinite panopticon, the player traverses and affects the virtual scenes by simply looking (or not looking) at things.

It presents five works that offer diverse perspectives on the meaning and scope of family, alternative families, and other topics for those living in the present age, and sometimes pose diverse questions. It hopes to bring you freshness and profound resonance, and to connect you with new connections.

The day before Soo-min’s big concert day, her college friends Won-ho, Sun-ki, Hong, and Jin-sook gather to celebrate Soo-min. Talking about their old memories and having fun seems like a happy moment of old friends. But soon when Soo-min leaves to the bathroom, Jin-sook starts a disturbing story about Soo-min that she has been sexually abused by her dad and brother after her mom’s death. As all friends are shocked, one by one starts to talk about Soo-min’s whole secrets as if they know everything about her without knowing Soo-min is overhearing their conversation.
